What We Do
Six connected areas of work, drawn directly from our mission, that together help communities move from vulnerability to resilience.
Long-term community projects designed to keep delivering value well beyond the first year.
Relief and support for disaster-affected and vulnerable communities when it is needed most.
Widening access to learning so children and adults can build on their own potential.
Skills, tools and openings that help families earn a stable and dignified income.
Safeguarding the natural resources Sri Lankan communities depend on every day.
Making sure every voice in a community helps shape the decisions that affect it.
Our Work
Our mission is not an abstract idea - it is families, homes and livelihoods in communities across Sri Lanka.
In Collaboration
UDF partnered with Global Helping Hands, an international NGO, to carry out a food basket distribution in Sri Lanka - bringing essential dry rations directly to families who needed them.
